🔹 RRB ALP Eligibility Criteria

1️⃣ Educational Qualification

Candidates must have any one of the following qualifications:
✔ 10th Pass + ITI in relevant trades (approved by NCVT/SCVT)
✔ Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile)
✔ Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile)

2️⃣ Age Limit (As of 01/07/2024)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 30 years
• Age Relaxation:
  • OBC – 3 years (Up to 33 years)
  • SC/ST – 5 years (Up to 35 years)
  • PwD – 10 years (Up to 40 years)

🔹 RRB ALP Selection Process

The selection process consists of five stages:

📌 Stage 1: CBT-1 (Computer-Based Test-1)

• Mode: Online
• Duration: 60 minutes
• Total Questions: 75
• Subjects: Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, General Awareness
• Negative Marking: 1/3rd

📌 Stage 2: CBT-2 (Computer-Based Test-2)

Part A:

• Duration: 90 minutes
• Total Questions: 100
• Subjects: Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Basic Science & Engineering, General Awareness

Part B:

• Duration: 60 minutes
• Total Questions: 75
• Subjects: Trade-Specific (as per ITI/Diploma qualification)
• Qualifying Marks: 35%

📌 Stage 3: CBAT (Computer-Based Aptitude Test)

• Conducted only for ALP posts
• No negative marking
• Candidates 10 times the vacancies are shortlisted for this stage

📌 Stage 4: Document Verification (DV)

• Original documents are verified

📌 Stage 5: Medical Examination

• Candidates must pass A-1 medical standard (Vision test)

✔ Gross Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000/- per month (including allowances)
